Madison Jukkola

Madison "MJ" Jukkola (she/her) is an MA student focusing her research within Restoration and Eighteenth Century British Literature, specifically concerning journals, epistolary texts, and the form/function of the novel. She is also interested in the intersection of linguistics and literature, particularly the evolution of language, and aims to further her study of Spanish and Latin American literature through the lens of postcolonial theory, Indigenous studies, and literary translation.

MJ is from Erie, Pennsylvania and received her BA in English from Mercyhurst University.
