Elizabeth Chang

Elizabeth Chang earned a BA in American Studies from the University of Virginia and a master's in journalism from the University of Maryland. She was an editorial writer for local newspapers before joining the Washington Post, where she spent most of her career, as a copy editor and an assignment editor for magazine, travel and wellness stories. She returned to UMD as a part-time lecturer in the Professional Writing Program in the fall of 2023.
