English lecturer John MacIntosh has a recent and forthcoming publication. MacIntosh co-authored (with Ryan H. Nelson) a keyword, "Multimodal," in The Journal of Popular Music Studies vol. 33, issue 3, which reflects on the question, "How can we explain the simultaneous rise of streaming music subscription services and the vinyl revival?"

MacIntosh also has a forthcoming chapter, "Fictions of Work and Labor," forthcoming in The Encyclopedia of Contemporary American Fiction, 1980-2020 (Wiley-Blackwell, 2022).
