Professor Tita Chico Listed on The Daily Record’s "Power 30 Higher Education in the State of Maryland"

Professor Tita Chico was listed on The Daily Record’s "Power 30 Higher Education in the State of Maryland." Those featured were chosen for preparing a new generation of citizens with critical thinking abilities, the temperament for lifelong learning, and the skills to enter a globally competitive workplace challenges. 

Additionally, Tita Chico has been invited to present The Dibner Lecture in the History and Culture of Science at the Huntington Library as part of their spring 2022 exhibit, "Science and the Sublime."

In December, Professor Chico is also invited to deliver a lecture at Leibniz University Hannover (Germany) called "The Intimacies of Literature and Science."

Lastly, Amanda Bailey, Emily Yoon Perez (UMD PhD and Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County), and Tita Chico were guests on the podcast, The American Vandal, for the episode, "Antiracism in the Contemporary University."
