Giving Day 2021
Giving Day is a 24-hour fundraising event held on March 3 for all members of the University of Maryland community. Students, faculty, staff, parents, friends and alumni are invited to join the largest day of giving because we are all Terps! The goal is to raise critical funding and engage our community to advance the mission of the University of Maryland.
The minimum donation is just $10 and goes a long way in supporting the English Gift Fund. Your gift can:
- Fund need- and merit-based scholarships for students seeking a top-notch education in the arts and humanities.
- Support student initiatives as they pursue their creative passions.
- Help students get career-ready by connecting with successful alumni.
You can also help us unlock an ARHU challenge gift of $25,000 when we reach 350 gifts! Special thanks to Alma and Joe Gildenhorn for their generosity.
Please support the English Department and community to make a difference on Giving Day by donating to the English Gift Fund on Wednesday, March 3.
