Course Number: SLLC698C / CMLT788C / HIST819E
The Colloquium in Cinema and Theory is a one-credit graduate colloquium that considers issues in film theory and criticism. This course has two major aims: to acquaint students with how theory can be applied in the analysis of film and to gather together a group of students and faculty from different disciplines to exchange ideas on approaches to the study of film.
The theme of the Spring 2012 colloquium is “Crime and Cinema.” Graduate students from any program or department in the College of Arts and Humanities are welcome to register.
