General Purpose Classrooms

General Purpose Classrooms (GPCs) are classrooms that may be used by anyone and are reserved through campus scheduiling.

In Tawes, all GPCs are tech-enhanced. They will all have the following equipment: a multimedia projector, a screen, an instructor computer, a document camera, a DVD/VCR combo deck, auxiliary inputs, speakers, and recording capabilities.

Media Classrooms

Media classrooms are rooms with an instructor computer as well as a computer for each student. They are reserved through the English Department.

In addition to computers, each of these rooms has the following equipment: a multimedia projector, a screen, an instructor computer with sypodium display, a document camera, a DVD/VCR combo deck, auxiliary inputs, speakers, and recording capabilities.

There are four media classrooms in Tawes. They are:

0230 (Seats 25 students)

0232 (Seats 25 students)

Seminar Rooms

Seminar rooms are geared toward discussion. They are reserved through the English Department.

In each seminar room, you will find the following equipment: a multimedia projector, a screen, an instructor computer, a DVD/VCR combo deck, auxiliary inputs, speakers, and recording capabilities.

There are six seminar rooms in Tawes. They are:

3248 (Seats 16 students)

3250 (Seats 18 students)

3252 (Seats 20 students)
